I had searched for g-f places in Nashville, and when I came across this place, I called ahead and spoke to the chef about a gluten-free and vegetarian meal. Their menu says that they can substitute a g-f ricecorn blend of pasta for any of the pasta dishes. (They also have many other g-f salads and things) The chef assured me that they cook the g-f pasta in a completely separate area and pot from the gluten pastas. He took down my name, and I told the waiter that I had called, and he relayed the message, and everything was fine.
The chef made me a vegetarian version of the alfredo sauce (the dish was "Spaghetti Alfredo") with just parmesean cheese, cream, and garlic (and possibly butter or oil). It was absolutely delicious and I had no reaction to it. I took it home as leftovers because there was so much and it was so rich, and it still tasted great the next day.
The restaurant is very nice but only moderately priced, and the atmosphere was great.

Definitely nice to know that calling ahead (before peak hours) will ensure a safe and incredible dish here, and not to feel left out while eating at an Italian restaurant with people who eat gluten!
